if we has elections all the post whorish 05/06ers would be elected in... now is that honestly something you want?

the votes should be on a system where the longer you've been around, the more your vote counts for. 06er is worth 1 point, 05er 2 points, 04er 4 points........

what i mean is the last couple of votes, aside from the given few who get it everytime (jmac/snova/denim/steve) a few newer members who *****d up just before the elections and because of their popularity always manage their way into there. Now im not saying they are bad members, more just showing that it happens. So expect 05/06ers as mods, if only 1 or 2 of them they will be there.

And the voting doesnt need policing, just pointing something out that ive noticed over the years. (ive been here too long, but i have nowhere else id rather be //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif )

Anyone remember when goob made writing a review a mod requirement? All of a sudden the review section blew up for a brief couple months while everyone tried to get theirs in.

i can agree with that.

on a somewhat related note i think its completly pointless to have mods that are never on here. nothing against them at all. but i can think of atleast 5

Not meaning it in a negative view on them the few that imidiately come to mind; squeek, jntar and req. Now i use the whoring term in sense that they were able to rack up the few thousand posts in their first few months here, wether they were helping others or not. Making them eligable for mod. Keeping in mind they werent bad members or horrible mods just proving my point of the newer member get in.
