Mobile Video camera for car?

Let's face it: people drive like idiots (except me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ).

I have had several close calls the last few months on the freeway and I am looking for in-car cameras to record if/when some douchebag slams into my car on the freeway.

I'm thinking something like what the cops have, and possibly something with side-mounted cameras, too.

you could probobly just get one of those mounts like the police cars have but would you really want a camera on your dash in teh way of everything?
