I actually really like riding 600s a whole lot. I like shifting and I just don't get riding a liter bike around in first gear everywhere.
And yes. If a 600 isn't enough for you on the streets, you are doing something wrong.
I'd assume most that think that a 600 race bike isn't fast have only rode stuff like the harley 883 sportster and think that it's bigger than the 600cc crotch rockets, so since the harley is slow, the R6 type bikes must be slugs.
They don't get that it's a race bike. Stock they go 0-60 close to 3 seconds and will top out at a smidge over 160. That's a lot of bike.
