I believe it...but a little birdie by the name of Zuki started singing in my ear lately. Might have to overlook getting that Leviathan after all.

Zuki is a very nice amp as well (or so I hear). The guy who owns the business has no idea that people only care about UPPER RMS limits not LOWER RMS limits, all his ratings are 100% meaningless. I was going to buy a Zuki when I started this journey a year ago, but with no upper rating... no thanks lol

I can understand his methods and why people can disagree with them, but I've also seems tons of reports where people can max the gains on their eleets hybrids and never receive any audible distortion. I figure you can be the leviathan guinea pig and I'll be the zuki. Maybe we can get a sq revolution going on ca.com lol

Neo man. If I can be honest, the thing you need is a SQ source unit, I would focus on that 1st thing then amp #2 .

I can tell from the recording you posted that your amps and speakers are pretty solid. Everything was clear.

I heard a 1,200$ set of dynes being run off a JL HD amp passive. My system had more detail because of my deck and processor, not because of my speakers/amps.

It sounded great, but the musical detail wasn't there.

I can loan you my eclipse cd7200 and you can tell me if you see an improvement. I wouldn't charge you a dime for the loan or shipping LMK.

Wow, man, that is GENEROUS and I truly appreciate the offer. I'm already planning on stepping up to a 80prs/9887/equivalent with processor in the future. I'm always planning these builds out well into the future and they normally coincide with my bonus installments/tax returns. I know the source is the weak link at this point and, trust me, that will definitely be addressed further down the road. If my circumstances change, I'll definitely take you up on that offer. Glad to hear your vote of confidence on the current audition. Things have improved even since then since I went back and deadened the doors a bit more.
