Just recently did this for a customer. He sent me a Mmats Jugernaut motor to build into a 15" sub for him.

First thing was to add a few basket spacers. I just like the way these look under this style of basket.

Bolted the basket to the motor with some 1/4-20 bolts.

This basket has a 7.5" spider landing which just wont cut it IMO. We added our 7.5" to 8" spider adapter to increase the landing size.

Here is is all bolted up...

Here are the main ingredients of this one. It's a 4 layer flatwound aluminum coil, 1.7" in length with a Dual 2 ohm rating. The spiders were a triple stack of our 8" progressive spiders with sewn leadwire.

I added a reinforcement glue joint to the back of the spider to make the joint a little more durable under high excursion, when the parts see a lot of stress in this area.

Here are the spiders glued down to the adapter.

You can see the coil from the exterior of the motor from inside of the cooling holes in the top plate.

We used 8ga premium direct connect wiring on this sub.

To get rid of that old chrome lettering on the motor, we used some of that good ole insta-boot on this one. Looks much better IMO!

Now for the icing! We used a 6" carbon fiber dome on this guy with our trademark logo! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Quick Q for ya david- You still using the parts you stole when you worked at re, or have you ran out by now? who is your current parts batch stolen from?

Thanks!

GTFO, its stupid idiots like you that cause people to leave this forum. Come up with something better than a 2yr old he said she said story... ok, now go shoot yourself.. do it for the children of the world.

this is necessary how?

Love it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

PS: Do you know if those spider rings will work on a 10" T3 TSS frame ?

^ no it wont jake, you would need extra spacers. i did some maching & tigin to one of those tss 10" baskets now it will hold a 8" spider looks more like a tc sounds basket.

the db drive wd uses the same basket and the 15" hold a 9 in spider. crappy design for the 10" to hold a 6.5" spider...
