I posted this in another car audio forum and would like to get everyone's inputs here, too. I have the chance to buy an unmodded black MMATS D300HC. It has some cosmetic flaws (I'd rate a 5.5 or 6/10) and hasn't seen power in over 7 years. He's asking $200. This amp is rated 1200Wx1 @ 2 ohms. After researching numerous articles, I found one that recommended an 80A fuse. Does that seem correct? I've read that these are underrated but by how much? Is this a good deal or should I keep looking? This would power either a TC Sounds OEM 10 (D4) or an original 12" SSA ICON (D2...reads 3.1 ohms in parallel). Thanks for the help.

200 is a great deal for that old school amp. Most of the time that's a 300-400 dollar amp used.

get it, make sure you do your big 3, and make sure you have the batt power to give it juice. great little american made amp
