I can get them both for the exact same price. The autotek has 2 inputs and 2 grounds so its the same amount of wiring. Autotek will be ran at 1.4, and the BXI's will be ran at .7 this is for daily on 2 btl's. I like the idea of one big amp but i think i would get a tad more power with the BXI's. I have never been a fan of them though, nor do i know if they will handle .7 I have seen people run the Autotek at 1 ohm all day and it not even getting hot even though its minimum bridged load is 2 ohm so ill be fine with that amp. What do yall think?

2608d because there 1ohm stable the autotec4000 is stable at 2ohms++++ You can get more power out of the 2608d they will do rated power

or real close
Id still be running the autotek at 1.4 and many people run them at 1 ohm no problem. The bxi's would be at .7 and i have never seen anyone run these amps below 1 ohm so i might be risking it with the hifonics.

alright, im leaning towards the 26008d's now. At .7 they should do just about rated, especially if i can keep the voltage up.

ive never used the 2608's, but i have owned 2 1206's a couple years ago. i didnt like them, i wouldnt expect them to do rated power unless you could hold a 14.4V at full tilt.

i have an autotek mm4000.1 wired to ~2.1 ohms bridged and its a monster. i couldnt imagine it at 1.4 or less. my vote goes to the autotek, its a great daily amp

I've had bxi models before and ran them at .5 without any issues.

You can squeeze out more power out the bxi2608s than the single m4000.1

I've clamped those amps before, check out the thread and look at those numbers.

Why not two crunch gp3000d pro's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
little bit to much money, although i could get one for now and run it at 1.4 than a second down the line and drop them to .7 each:eek:

this thread didn't help narrow anything down:(
