MLV Alternative

Just looking at it, it may be an alternative, but IDK if I'd go for it.. It's only .33lbs/ft^2.. For good transmission loss you want at least .5lbs/foot to get the resonant frequency down low enough. Here is actual MLV that is cheaper per square foot than the product you linked is.. It's .75lbs/ft^2.. The best MLV is usually right at or a hair over 1lb/ft^2, but this MLV is cheaper than most and it's free shipping //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif You can easily do 2 layers and still come out ahead
