Mixing Xover equpiment

Well I blew my second set of morel MT-12 tweeters and am going to be looking for a higher handling pair. Is it possible for me to keep the morel Xover and use a different tweeter with no issues?

As long as the new tweeters like the crossover point of the crossover you should be fine.
