I have two 15 inch subs in my trunk. They hit but i want more. The problem is i have a small hatch back. How would it sound if i added two more smaller subs to my system? i have P1's, can i add two 8" or 10" P1's to my trunk? Thanks

I have a 2007 hyundai tiburon, i have two 4ohm 15" P1 Rockford Fosgates. They are in a sealed box because a ported one wasnt able to fit. It was built to spec by a friend at a local shop. Amp is a 8104D kenwood 1000W.

nvr mix and match subs...i was just talking about this the other day 2...its like throwing a rock ina lake...you throw a little rock, it makes a little ripple affect in the water...you throw a big rock, it makes a bigger ripple affect, canceling out the little AND sometimes the bigger one as well...if both types of subs, example 2 15s and 2 10s, are playing the same frequency, they will pretty much cancel out and the sound wont be produced...itll sound like shit when music does play...thats y u NEVER see any competitors with mixed sub sizes

imo, id drop the p1s...i had 2 12's in a huge ported box and they sounded good but not good enough...just buy 2 better 15s and you'll be much happier...you have a set budget, power?

How are you going to fit 4 15's if you couldnt fit two 15's in a ported box?

being that you only are working 500 watts rms if your lucky, it's not going to be that loud in the first place, If you are looking to get loud and stay in the trunk I would recommend selling the subs you have and the amp. You can pick up an audiopipe 1500 for $160 on ebay new which does rated power,and then I would go with 1 15" or 2 12's in a proper ported box.

ther only 200w rms its enough power, but idk it sounds pretty good and its pretty decent priced, i dont wana redo a whole system and waste what i spent and then also buy more. what if i upgraded my oem speakers. and a headunit? would that help a good amount or no

itll help...but the speakers dont affect ur subs...if ur unhappy with the sub output, go with something better...itll be worth it...i went from 2 12" p1s ina ported box with a power acoustik 1200w amp, ran at 4 ohms to a pair of 10" cvx, sealed off of a bxi1210d at 1ohm, and it was a HUGE difference...soooooooooo much happier!!...jus changed my box to a ported one and ive nvr been happier...if u want the cvx's, ill sell them to you as well...ill even sell the bxi1210d too...i jus took them out yesterday n tossed in my rd sonances
