Hey, I have a court appearance in June. Quick question. If I got arrested for fighting at school, will my future parol officer drug test me?

Probably, but your only 17 and doing drugs and getting kicked out of school.... I wouldn't be worrying about drug tests...

Well I'm 18 now. My brother was involved in the fight as well, and he already had his court date. His parol officer said that he could drug test him at any time but hasn't so far.

And I have had no previous arrests or records or anything like that. I'm paranoid.

i have a failure to appear for expired registration... but its the cops fault because the day after i got the ticket i renewed it and explained to the officer that i was going to MEPS to swear in and you cant swear in with open law violations... said he would take care of it and i never thaught twice about it...

apparently he "forgot" and i got a letter from the capitol (raliegh) 3 months later (a few days ago actually) stating i have to mail in my liscense and pay some fee's...

also if you have a failure to appear, goto the courthouse and have your case put back on the docket... then once the judge calls your case say not guilty... and when your called up to the bench or whatever, explain to the DA that some shit went down and you were unable to make the court date

that sucks here in LA if you miss your court date they put out an attachment for you... hope its different out there... best thing to do is get it taken care of before they take care of you

I got arrested when I was in middle school during the whole process I moved to a new house in the same city. I gave them my change of address to send the court date and papers and all that bs. Well they sent it to the old address and I missed court 3 times. I was sitting in class and a police officer came in with the principal handcuffed me in class I had to spend like 8 hours in juvie and then went to court in shackles it sucked bad.
