Mis-Measured frustration + help.

So i went to get my wood, had the guy at loews do my cuts for me, thought everything would line up perfect and have my box ready by tonight.

I was wrong, as the bad day continued i split the wood once, filled it, then got it together, as i was putting my front and back on i noticed i didn't add the 1 1/2 for the MDF..

Just getting so frustrated, nothing would work right, piece of wood fell on my girlfriends foot and now it's completely swollen.

I'm tired of the hassle, and just wanna buy one..

Does anyone here make just a cheap sealed/ported ~2.25cu (~3.14 ported) for a cheap price.. i don't even care if it's bare wood.

I see Two 12" Subs Car Speakers Box Sub Subwoofer Subwoofers - eBay (item 300215858608 end time Apr-19-08 21:10:14 PDT)

and i would just go over and on all the joints/terminal add glue to try to secure the air tight even more..

Anyone ever get a box off ebay?

hmm seems like some people can't take the task of building boxes.

Make sure he cuts the wood right by measuring. If it is off, then ask for some new wood. If he refuses, then just walk out. Most likely he would have to pay for it and he wont make the mistake again.

He was only off my 1/16s or so, I made this mistake of the 1 1/2...

Don't give up so fast. Just learn to do it properly. Patience is key. Next time you can post your plans up here for someone to double check before you cut.

make sure you bring a cut sheet with you so you know exactly what you have/ or havn't got cut. You can check off the pieces as he cuts them. I downloaded Cutlist Plus to organize my cuts.
