Item(s) Description/Condition:

Nearly flawless. There's a tiny tiny lil scuff here or there, and some small spotting on the chrome strips on the top...those spots might come out with the right cleaning chemical..... otherwise perfect. Stellar condition considering the age of this baby. Warranty seal intact and original orion wire plugs included.

some say they will do 0.25ohm, i'm sure for short burps with plenty of power these will do it. amp is tested and works perfect

im not sure. ive heard 500w-600w at 1 ohm but i havent personally clamped it.... i know these were designed to be rediculously underrated to help customers using these amps at 4ohm rated/limitations competitions

any idea what generation this 225 i have? shot in the dark i'm going to say 3rd gen....

Iirc the pop tops were 4th gen. 1st has the painted red surface with the moon & star. 2nd was red anodized but still had the power wires coming out instead of plugs. 3rd says digital reference but is still pretty much the same as 2nd. Then the pop top with the PPI plugs. Then 5th they changed the heatsink.

I'm no expert. I've just owned several & was around during their heyday. Another thing... The 275SX is the same as the HCCA 225 inside except it's set up with higher rail voltage so it can't do lower impedences. Same thing with the HCCA 250 & the XTR or Extreme 800.
