If you are worried about getting hurt fighting is not for you; its not if you will get hurt its when. That and if you are looking to it for a living then having a fulltime job wont work; you wont be able to get the training you need. One of my old wrestling coaches is a MMA fighter in the chicago land area and he used to be at everyday; but he missed 3-4 days a week becuase he either had a fight or was training. The training regiment needed for MMA is crazy; you drain energy so fast in a fight its rediciolous. that and if you dont have a martial art background; or wrestling background; good luck. People in MMA have been doing one of these things for most of their life, and these martial arts are all technique; which cant be learned in a month or 2

have fun man but before you go pro you better take about 10 amature fight and see how you do. We got our own MMA camp and people come and think it will be easy because there bar room brawlers and its nothing like people think its going to be, takes alot of hard work and you either have it or you dont
