Look what I started...Jmac, I would definitely rather get the Type S but circuit city doesn't carry them, only Es and Rs (Rs are still too expensive for my budget, even with discount. my friend that works there said two Rs would probably be too much bass anyway.) O yea, I was asking about an amp...

I did consider it...but I like the idea of having two subs instead of one. I heard both, (1 R vs 2 Es) and I think the Es are better.

O yea, I was wondering the same thing about no Type S's, I have no idea why they don't.

I was lookin at the pioneer, thats a possibility.

O yea, newbie question, would I want a 1, 2, or 4 channel amp to run 2 (or maybe 1) subs?

no i dont think r's are bettr than e's, but i can afford two e's.
