Pissing off the world.
I think the opposite is supposed to be true of sound waves. Colder air is more dense so should transmit sound better. I do know that my system gets quite a bit louder as the amps and probably the drivers get warmed up. Maybe that has something to do with it?
EDIT- I've had a ruptured ear drum for the past few weeks, and I notice a lot of variations in volume, maybe that's what is going on with you?
