My phone also uses micro sd card and the kingston micro card i bought from http://www.newegg.com came with the adapter so i can plug it into a starndard sd card slot. My phone also has bluetooth though so i just bought a bluetooth adapter for my desktop that plugs into a usb slot and now i can transfer everything from phone to pc wireless which is nice.

Mine too, i have the nokia 6300, but i'm home when i use it so i just have it on the charger.

ok, im confused. so how do i put music on my phone if i already have some on my computer? i have to rename the file? and also check my other topic for other questions about micro sd

For mine I had to put the card into the phone and format the card through the phone, this setup folders on the card for "My music", "my videos" ect and then pop it into the computer drag n drop the music into the music folder, put card back in the phone and you should be good.

This was with a LG phone on Verizon so it could be different for you.

i got an LG phone for alltel. i already know how to transfer pics and vids and stuff, but i was just checkin in music had to be modified by changing file type or not.

i cant play vids on my computer from my phone. i downloaded a program called Divx. Does anyone know how to use this program? its kind of confusing

Verizon is a pain in the *** for music.

The dealer blatantly lied to me and said it plays MP3's

LIE

My Verizon samsung has a music player but does NTO play mp3's.

I had to buy a $40 cable and cd, to convert the format and upload the music. Its like Vtunes or something.

naw I got this here

Got it back in January and I think its since been discontinued. plays mp3's without a problem though I know that much, haven't tried videos or anything, pictures transfer on and off no problem as well.

i got same one except its for alltel. vids dont transfer tho without a converting program.

I dont know if this has been stated, but you have to put the card in the phone, and somehwere there should be an option to format the card

Thats all I did with mine, and then I just put it in the bigger slot, into the laptop and dropped music into the my music folder

yeah, ive already figured out how to work it lol..

The question now is to learn how to convert the file types so that my computer can read how videos should be played, and vice versa. i downloaded a program (mentioned in a previous post) and i wanna know how to do it.

So you got the program to convert movies to 3g2 or whatever the cell phone file thing is?

All you have to do then is run the program and put it on your phone. But most of those programs dont work very well
