we have gotten 30"+ here just in December

6" yesterday with 6" more forecast for tommorrow and probably 10-12" more by the end of the weekend

snow i can deal with, the 30+ mph winds that come off the bay i can do without

Do any of you guys help people on the road, when they are stuck? I would of today, but I didnt have anything to use, to help them

Helping people stuck in the snow is almost a daily thing for me. The dirt road behind my house is a big hill and every winter idiots who live in the rest of the neighborhood always try to drive up it & get stuck. I get so tired of it. Every single year this road freezes to a solid sheet of ice; to the point that you can't even walk on it w/o slipping. They go flying up the hill only to get halfway and roll back down. Alot of the times they will end up in the grass of my backyard, literally.

As for stopping to help people while i'm driving; when the first snow fell this year I think 'round thanksgiving I saw a silverado in a ditch sideways on it's drivers door, and a couple kids with an s-10 in a ditch. I stopped both times to check it out; but couldn't really do anything besides offer them my cellphone.

Up here in Traverse City, we get lake effect like every other day. Easily 2ft. chillen on the ground right now and more keeps coming. Plus its all drifted up and keeps melting and freezing on the roads keeping the city plows in business for sure.

My fvcking road never gets plowed....all year long it wont get touched. I hate michigan......I made the mistake of taking my car out yesterday and got stuck in the snow 4 times within a mile, plus it doesnt help that they dont plow most of the streets where i live
