Michigan's first snow storm of '08!

you know... This being regarded as a storm is a joke. Sure, we got 10" in some area's, BUT 20 years ago, this much snow on the ground was simply Wednesday. Now, when it is forecasted to snow 1-3" you see the news crews at the salt stations watching trucks fill up and talking about the impending doom.. WE'RE ALL GONNA DIEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Oh noes a little snow is coming! What REALLY made me LOL is when the news suggested stocking up on canned goods and water WTF!?! Its a little SNOW! I drove to Milford for what ended up to be no reason at all. Roads were a mess, and I had a good time! I like driving in the snow //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Do any of you guys help people on the road, when they are stuck? I would of today, but I didnt have anything to use, to help them
i helped the people in my hood, but on the main roads ill be happy if i can stay unstuck so i dont let off the gas unless for red lights.

suprisingly, I drove the entire length of 275 N and a chunk of 96 and saw no one stuck or spun out neither there or on the way home. The only place I got hung up for a minute was at my parents house when I picked up my daughter.. Their sub was trashed!! Everyone was blowing all the snow from the driveways to the street, and pretty much made it un-passable. As long as you didnt stop, it was good, but if you had to stop, then you were stuck

The worst ever is driving the 550 miles from home up to school in really snowy weather, not fun. I tried the Thursday night before Thanksgiving, couldn't do it, had to spend the Night in Marquette, and that took 3 hours to get there when it usually takes just under 2 hours.

it depends on the situation. if it's like rush hour or something, i won't, because i figure they've already called for help.

if i'm in a sub and somebody's stuck, or it's really late at night on a main road, i'll hop out and give a push, but i'm 6'3'' and 175, so it's not much of a push. sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn't.

I've never had a problem with my Jimmy, even when I put it into a snow bank when I was fucking around. I have a friend with an 07 or 08 F-150 and my Jimmy owns it in the snow.
some guy in my neighborhood got stuck in hid new f-150. had to push him out.

Keep rubbin it in! I want snow like that. We havent been fortunate to get a heavy storm yet.
ya lol its fun until you get stuck or have to use a shovel cuz your snow blower is not tall enough. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
