About the meet, if Allstate doesn't work, there are TWO forest preserves right down the road, and it'll be a good spot since its a big lot, and right next to a lake.

what forest preserves? if there are any houses by them it may be a problem. If you want to stay far enough away from houses there is a big forest preserve by Schaumburg that you can get a permit for and no houses so no complaints. I used to bowl at elk grove bowl right by there good fishing too. There is another forest preserve i have been to that is by oakton community college that is always pretty deserted and no houses by it and its right off the highway. It is on central road east of river.
