there is a huge religious debate about being xmas and holidays. some people aren't catholic/christian and do not consider it to be christmas rather they consider it holidays.

becuase if people from other religions besides christianity get offended when people say merry christmas, he has the right to get offended if someone tells him happy kwanzaa, ramadan, etc.
