Memphis subs ?: 4 Mclass 12 inch vs 2 M3 12 inches vs 1 12 inch mojo

Newbie question here. I currently have a Memphis Hybrid Amp that outputs 1000 watts at 1 ohm. If i want to keep this amp and not use any additional amp, what configuration of subwoofers would give me the best SQ. Which would give me the deepest/loudest bass?

The car I want to put this system is a Cadillac Fleetwood.

4 Mclass Subwoofers = 800 watts

2 M3 Subwoofers = 800-1000 watts depending on which model year

1 Mojo = 1000 watts @2 ohm (can my amp even handle this?)

I think you may be best on SPL with the 4 Mclass. I knew one guy that had 4 Memphis PR 15's on a PR 1000d and it was real loud. It was a good amount louder than what I had (1 AQ hd3 @1500w). How much space do you have?

Everything will be in the trunk of a 94 Cadillac Fleetwood. This car was the largest sedan in production in the 90s. The trunk space would be a bit bigger than the lincoln town cars that are used as cabs these days. The only non electronic equipment that would share space in there would be the full size spare which I might also get rid of...

I had figured that 4 Mclasses would out SPL the 2 M3s but the Mclasses are supposed to be Memphis's "best SQ woofers" according to their website. Would the SQ on the Mclasses get worse just because there are 4 instead of 1? If it doesnt, that would logically mean that the 4 Mclasses would have better SPL and SQ no? And you can buy 4 Mclasses for the price of about 2 M3s...

So I guess the general question is...given the same diameter woofer, and given enough space to hook up multiple subs, would it be better SPL or SQ-wise to use say four 250 watt woofers or a single 1000 watt woofer? Increased cone area > than punch power?
