also I have a supposed 280 rms going to each off a Power acoustik lt980. Ha ha, I know

I've run 350-400rms to mine for over a year, same for an MClass...and both were ported with that power....never bottomed out, never messed up. Of course, everything was set properly and I don't try to tear things up.....I'd think 400 is the safe upper limit for PRs and MCs....

they are like 450 max, but they will take that rms, Ive done it on several different prs, good beginner subs

But yeah, 500rms is just about what I'd give them for daily.

unless I ran just 1 in my ported 1.75 cu. ft. box with 560rms bridged@4ohms. which being Power acoustik i know is overrated.
