Item(s) for Sale:
Memphis Mojo MCD2500 - Not working
Item(s) Description/Condition:
Pretty beat up, but not terrible. The top of it is in pretty alright condition, some marks, but nothing crazy bad. The bottom is beat, I dunno how it got so scratched up, but it is, luckily it's on the bottom and it won't be seen.
I don't know what's wrong with the amp. I opened it up, and don't see anything wrong with it, I smelled around, it smells, but smells more like glue to me than fried, but I dunno.
I've had this amp for like four years, and it's been strong. It did get a repair about two years ago, I don't remember what part Steve from Amp Medics told me it was, but he said it was the feet of _______ that broke off due to vibration. I put a bunch of foam under the amp rack and it's held up strong for the last couple years. However, yesterday I was driving, had the music pumping, nothing crazy loud (rage against the machine) and the amp just stopped. I started to turn it down, the subs popped a couple times, then nothing. I pulled over, unplugged the remote wire, and when I got home, I pulled the amp out, and opened it up thinking I would see scorches, but don't really see anything in there out of the normal.
So, long story long, I don't know what's wrong with it. Sold as is, not working, I will do my best to answer any questions.
Also, one of the set screws for the speaker wires is missing. It was there when I installed it, it must have vibrated out, but you only use two anyways. I will look around for it when I get a chance. I'm also 90% sure I have a new remote gain knob, but haven't looked for it yet.
