i have a memphis mcd4kw and am trying to decide on what subs to get im very very partial to kicker and was thinking about the solox 18 but ive heard so many good things about FI BTL's and they are more reasonably priced than the solox. so i want 2 of BTL 18's how does that sound? im gonna be putting them into a dodge magnum

Friend has that exact setup at the moment. And shiza does it get loud... And sound good doing so.

yea ive been thinking about it for some time now and im more than likely gonna get it. how big of a box you think could fit in a magnum without walling it off?

So, I presume you will build a 12+ cubic foot box for 2 18's, throw 4 kilowatts at them, but run stock speakers off HU power? Should sound great

Due to the stock electrical, be prepared to buy a new amp, and possibly new subwoofers as well( depending on how it blows).

Edit: Yeah, it's a good idea to learn what you are doing in car audio BEFORE installing an amp than can **** ~300 amps of current out of your electrical system.

Please send pics of carnage after installing said amp on stock electrical

well i do know a good bit about car audio but im sorta new to the high performance side. i am getting extra batteries and going to upgrade my alt. i have a friend that has 2 solox 18s on 2 warhorse with 1 yellow top and stock alt and wiring and has been in multiple comps and also daily listening and perfroms great so why is that if stock electrical is going to blow everything? you must not know much so stop being a douche bag hahaha

Hahaha no. 2 warhorses will NOT run on 1 yellow top+stock alt. Absolute bullshit. Unless he's running 500 watts from each..That kind of current draw is absolutely not happening with that setup unless he's dropping to 5v. Oh and an idiot for buying nice amps and wasting them on a shit electrical.
