Memphis M-class 10" vs 12" in STI

Hello,

I was hoping to get some good opinions from some people who have heard both the Memphis M-class 10" & 12" subs.

I have a 2013 Subaru STI, and due to the trunk design and odd rear seatbelt holder I have to make a choice between 2 of the above subs. If i go with the 12's I will lose all trunk space.

I will be running a Memphis 1000 watt amp regardless, in a ported box. How much of a difference or loss would I see going with the 2 10"s vs. 2 12"s?

The audio shop said they could make the 10's hit as hard as the 12's, but since I have not heard either and this is my first Memphis purchase I am torn.

Any advice or opinions would be appreciated

Thanks to all who read and post.

Thanks for the advice. The Memphis speakers/amp were my idea. Several people I know have the Mojo 15"s subs with M-class mids and highs which I thought sounded great. They had them in Vans so I cannot draw a comparison to what i am trying to do based on their setups

Sticking with Memphis M-class subs, what would be the loss between 10' and 12's. I do have a small trunk.. I forgot to mention my STI is the sedan, not the hatchback.

Thanks for posting and making sure I am not being taken advantage of.
