memphis audio subs

i'm in the market for new subs and a few friends of mine have reccomended memphis audio subs. i've heard very little about them and want to know more. how much $$$ are they going to run me and how do they perform....i picked up a memphis audio catalog and the memphis MOJO subs sound pretty good. if anyone knows anything about them please holla at me.

i have 2 15" memphis mojos, and these S.O.B.'s f*ing romp. i would highly recommend them.

memphis r some ncie subs. i heard the cheapest one they have, like all balck with a big black M in the cone. he had like 4, but they soudned good. they prob wont sound dat loud if u put only one, but they r nice subs

oh man, they would murder type R's. i consider the type R's more of a SQ sub than an SPL. the Mojos are an all out SPL fvckin' boom bastic sub.

I went to a db drag. There was a ford focus with 2 12" Power Reference subs, memphis' universal 2 12 sloted box, and a memphis 1000x1 amp. he hit 144 db !!

those power reference subs sound good but they peak at only 450 watts....does the peak really matter and are you sure they were power reference subs?

i have 2 power reference 12s and they POUND, i bought them just to add more bass with my infinitys but they almost added too much, i highly recomend them

I wasent too impressed when I heard Memphis... it was 2 12" subs with 1000WRMS to them. I didn't really ask too much detail about them since I wasen't impressed with them. From what I hear they are expensive though.

with the exception of the LVS, memphis sells very nice woofers... made in an extremely good buildhouse..
