Memphis amp cutting out @ very high volume?

What about your electrical system? I once had issues with a battery that showed no signs of problems with regards to voltage readings. It showed 12.7 or so with the vehicle off and 13.X with the vehicle running. When I brought the battery to be tested, it failed and bad cells was the suspected cause.

glad to know that turning the gain down helped. as for waht bush is saying i'm not really sure you could contact memphis and see what they say. i know in some amps shutting down like that when clipping is done to protect both speaker and amp.
