Memphis 16-MC1000D? Advice please

Hey everyone I was gonna check around and see about this amp. I'm gonna do a trade for it and I was gonna see what kind of experience people have had with it like how much can it really push, numbers in competitions, etc. I'm gonna have it paired with a 12" L7 that is D2 and wire it for 1 ohm. Will this amp blow it if I turn it up to much? I read 1100 watts on one website then I heard 1100 rms on another. So what's this amp capable of? Thanks for any advice

its acctual raitings are 981 rms at 12v it does just a hair over 1100 at 14v at 1ohm. I run one now its a very clean amp small and compact. Set your gain with a DMM matched with your RCA output IE 2-4-5v ect ect.

It will run that L7 just fine.
