Until one day I heard it next to the PA2400DB and the PA2400 was much louder.

They were both pushing 2 05 12 L7's in prefab sealed boxes....

memphis is a higher quality brand...less distortion, and probly much more efficent...the other amp im not sure what it's rated might put out more power...but is more likely to over heat and clip than the memphis is....

Well i'm gonna tell you my experience with PA2400DB....

I run it at 1 ohm daily and sometimes i play it really loud for long periods of time and my PA2400 doesn't even get hot...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

They Pa can put out 2300 watts @ 1 ohm while the memphis does like 1200? The choice is pretty obvious

A fellow competitor in my class is moving from the memphis 1000d to the power acoustik A3000 because it can be had for much cheaper and produce more power. Bass Addict is more than likely right about the memphis having a quality edge, but for the money power acoustik D class amps are stout little boogers.

I sealed the port making it in essence a sealed box and it is 2twice as loud.

It really loves the low notes 40 and under,but the higher bass notes it seems to taper off and not hit as hard.I can barely hear after Late night tip.

The PA3000 may do more power, but I'd still take the memphis over it any day.

Well cause mine are firing forward from the trunk it seems like it was causin some cancellin when it was ported.........but now that it is sealed off it slams hard and cleaner when up loud.Remember my tuning was off cuase the trunk is bigger then I first thought(lol).Its around 7-7.5cubes after everything is taken into account:crazy:

A lil big which is why I think it peaks so low and isnt as good up high.

Tryin to figure out how to do a 2 piece box and bolt it together in the trunk so I can go 4th order and see how it sound right now though it really loves the low notes.It has to be close to a high 130db setup on music......really impressed with the lil MD2:naughty:
