Memphis 1000d - (2) 15L7's, yes or no?

right now i have a mephis 1000d, andi have2 15L7-d4's on the way. not looking to win any comps. just want to get loud. will this amp be fine? how many watts will each sub be getting if wired down at 1 ohm? 1000w a piece?

No i don't think it will be 1000 watts a piece...i think each sub will be getting about 500 watts off of that, because when you wire the two subs in parallel to a one ohm load they both have to share that 1000 watts. I may be off, but I think that is the way it works.

i would step ip to a bigger amp, or two smaller amps for each

But on the other hand you can get a Hifonics Colossus....or a Hifonics BXI 2006d to power them. The rms wattages on those amps are pretty high, and they won't really break the bank.

one amp of equal power, to the two amp idea, would be better...

a 2006 does 2000w @1? if so your golden...unless you get a better amp
