So my friend bought a Honda CR250 dirtbike. He tells me the wal-mart 2 stroke pre-mix for weed eaters will work in his bike. I said naw man you need to go to the bike shop and get some Motul 800 or Amsoil, something high quality if you want the bike to last. He didnt listen. We went to the track a couple weeks ago and going down the straight his motor locks up. We just tore the bike down last night and look what we found. . . . . . .

The top of the piston has a shit load of dings from the rod bearing flying around

Huge grooves in the side. It melted the ring into the piston

And it even cracked the shield

Yeah I tried to tell him its not the same stuff. He got what he deserved because he didnt listen. We are sending the motor off to FMF to get a job done on it. Should be badass when its done.

it has a tendency to end friendships. but its worth it.
no that's what friends are for. if i gave my buddy a hard time for doing something stupid, and be basically told me to fuck off and never talk to him again, he wasn't really a friend in the first place //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/imo.gif.3a57bcc70a4835dc53e86ffae1a0b041.gif

hmm we seem to differ in opinion then. to me, a true friend lets you put it in his ***. if he doesnt, then i dont consider him to be a true friend. i know im a good friend...

different strokes for different folks i guess.

easy fix, dirt bikes use 1 piston........Id look into something more Highperf if it were mine
Naw the 250 uses 2 rings. The motor is getting redone by FMF and we are putting all Wiseco in it, rod, crank, piston etc.

and its not really an easy fix when the cylinder has huge gouges in it.
