Oh and expy, when do you think that stuff will be happening. Its funny that you keep saying the stuff about our government collapsing, because most of the political conversations come to that conclusion.... that America is "fvcked" and there is no way out of it.
I will give the GOVT 30 years before a major redesign or collapse occurs. I am tired of the United States DEFENDING the rest of the world virtually alone. Our list of TRUE allies can be counted on 1 hand, Great Briton, France, Canada, Germany and maybe Spain. There are other countries that would help, but they have nothing we could use other than bodies..
Great Briton - well they are our 51 state, moderate economy..
Canada - Only because they are our neighbor, Neutral otherwise..
France - Despite recent outcrys and such they are still our Ally..
Germany - Steady economic decline, will be poorest in the EU in 2011
Spain - Just want to have a good time, not worried about the rest of the world
Europe as a whole is going down the tubes fast.. No hope in sight for them..
I would like to mention Japan too because they depend heavily on their imports but.. with their aging population and failure to integrate outside of Japan.. Doomed..
Enemies - Rivals or Aggressors
China - Economy is growing 8% a year!! New world power rising.
North Korea - The Canada of Asia, we attack them China attacks US, Simple..
Pakistan - Nuclear Power.. Huge population, BOOMING economy..
India - Did I say Nukes? Big population, and oh ya Boom Economy..
South America - Becoming buddy buddy with China, South America exports food, China imports goods.. Perfect friendship.. China has a non threatening alliance with S. America.. When was the last time S. America as a whole or individual ever invaded anyone outside of this hemisphere?
America in my opinion needs to contract as a whole and continue to dominate the technology and services industries.. or we are doomed.. Immigration is a huge PLUS, with the baby boomers about to retire we are going to need all the help to sustain our lead against are booming rivals..
However with the way the GOVT operates now, we are headed for a fall.. Just like the Mayans, Romans, Eqyptians, Russians, British, and Spanish Empires...
8000 years of Human history and we are repeating their same mistakes..
