MECP vs MESA

My son in considering attending a car audio installation course. Some offer the MECP and others MESA. Is one better than the other? I found a school in NJ and one in FL. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm going to piggyback onto this thread. I've worked at an audio store in da' hood for months. I was the go to guy, but I have nothing to show for it. I put all of my money in Cisco's and Novell's certifications.

I was going to go MECP, but I didn't really know of any alternatives other than Rockford's cert. But that was five years ago when I had my teeth sunk in Steve's nuts.
