Mecp Master Installer Test= Bullshit

yeah but how long do the installs last, and how many people are working on it? and how often do high-dollar clients come in really? i used to want to do this stuff for a living, but after talking to people who work at custom shops (not just bb and cc drones) i really got the impression that unless you're on PMR or whatever that other show is, it's a tough road financially...
All reasons why I'm thankful I live where I do. Too many rich people with to much stinkin money to throw around.

nope never taken it, and dont plan too.
Iv met Garry Biggs in person before actually from a work shop, also know Alma Gates, and my hero Rick Jones (who was one who built the ppi bronco)

and its Jesse James

Your 1st class Cert.....

You don't plan to take any higher level of testing for your exteneded learning.... and now your the forum Grammar Instructor? WTF are you even doing here?

On a positive note...i do want to compliment you on your pods in the back of your Vdub. Those are the cleanest new to my eyes install Ive seen for a while.

See what I'm say'in man...just cuz your not Master Cert.. doesn't mean you arent qualified....Just gotta change how it qualifies for new Tech. ....and get smarter...

How do the pods sound?

hey thanks man, no hard feelings. im sure you will pass the test. and good luck (maybe things have change sense i have last checked it out years ago)

the woofers sound great. I love doing those kinda enclosures.

I took the Basic test and passed it easily, I did however notice that a lot of the questions went into a great amount of detail on stuff that you will never use, while the every day stuff was just briefly mentioned.

If the master level test is the same way I can only imagine how ridiculous it is.

You only figured out you need to learn how to design a Zobel network after taking the test twice?

My compliments to you on realizing you just gotta stroke azbass' rear pods a little, and he warms right up to ya. Most people take alot longer to find his g spot. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

In conclusion, love those rear pods az! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

just b/c they get $120 an hour dont mean they know what there doing(subs out of phase //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif).

if you think the MECP has some irrelevent shit in it, trying taking the MCSE or CCNA //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

These tests like this are really just a game, you just gotta play the game to win the "prize" so to speak. Kinda like a college degree, any dumbass can get one but most have no application of the inferred knowledge base.

Amen, I was on the MCSE/CCNA track several years back and gave up as the company I work for didn't really require it. Final straw was a new hire who had both certs and was working on another one who came to me for help doing her basic networking homework //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif I realized then they were pretty much useless.

My only advice is to make sure it's REALLY worth it to you, and if it is, figure out how to pass it. I'm assuming it's made that hard intentionally, so very few will pass it, otherwise it holds no real prestige. Seems that's the point and really has nothing to do with actual knowledge/ability to install.
