i installed my 250amp mechman alt the other day and all i have to say is good things. they made brackets for my truck to fit the bigger alt and everything was dead on. even though my alt is in a sucky place everything went smooth. ive had 2 other companys HO alts and excessive amperage and they dont even compare to the mechman. my voltage barley drops and the external regulator is awesome! you can clearly see the difference in a mechman alt compared to the other companys such as the bigger case bigger windings designated ground etc. and the best part is that they actually answer the phone everytime and stayed on the phone with me to answer all my questions.
