Yeah we got very lucky with our place. Has only 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, but is an open floor plan for most part. Are kitchen is hugeeeeeeeee for an apartment. We are currently talking to a real estate agent though. Looking to get a 3 bedroom Condo or house. Mine is 2bedroom 3 bath. I had to have a basement and a fireplace. $60 a month goes to the community fee, and they cut our grass, clear snow, and for use of the pool and gym down the street.

I wish I could get a house for that cheap around here or anywhere in this city. All the townhouses in this neighbor hood are $200g-$300g. The one I live in was $200g.

housing in detroit is cheap just because your address says detroit. they are old homes though. just your standard 3 bedroom brick bungalow house, but for 1 or 2 people they are great. not good for a family cause the school district sucks.

I lived down in Sarasota Florida for a while with a friend that his parents bought a house for 90k. Was pretty nice and in decent area. Least what I would call a decent area, but would go a few blocks down and got kinda shitty.

How long ago? In 2003 you could find many great starter homes for 80k - 100k in our area, but then the market rocketed to 150-175k for these same homes in a course of 2 years. I bought a 1300 sq ft home(2bed 2 bath) built in 76 with a screened in pool that I paid 80k for in aug of 03. I sold the same home oct 05 for 155k in the same condition.

The market went stupid in the new port richey area during them 2 years.

I bought a 1300 sq ft home(2bed 2 bath) built in 76 with a screened in pool that I paid 80k for in aug of 03. I sold the same home oct 05 for 155k in the same condition.
The market went stupid in the new port richey area during them 2 years.

Oh this was quite a while ago. About 11 years ago, so that could be why it was cheaper then. Was a beautiful house.
