me FTW!!

Very true, public speaking is a good thing to develop, hence why I didn't complain about all the presentations.
In fact, when I was a freshman I had this intro to music class in which i had a presentation on a music composer. This was my first REAL in class presentation, and i was nervous as hell.

Since then, i have become MUCH better at speaking in front of people.
aye... I've made alot of progress too... I managed to wing a best man speech with about 2 min of mental preperation, whis after bombing every speech given in HS because I was so nervous...

My one friend spent about 3 days saying a 5 minute speech out loud to prepare for his presentation. I'll print out my powerpoints a few hours before the class, jot some notes down, and wing it. It seems to work out better that way. If you spend all that time saying a speech over and over in a specific way, then the actual speech comes around and you lose your spot or your train of thought, you are really screwed. Whereas if you wing it and say shit as you go, there is no way to really "mess up". I learned that after a few times where i prepared FAR too much. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

awesome man! I'm going for a business degree as well. I agree with you in the sense that a business degree is very versatile and you can pretty much go anywhere with it. Good luck to you for the future, now go party and afterward go apply somewhere for a district manager position or something. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

For the most part i had fun. The first few years of classes were the bullsh*t classes that every business major has to take (first level accounting, marketing, etc.), junior year is when they begin to focus primarily on your specific area (mine being management).

Some classes were pretty worthless, but that doesn't mean i didn't enjoy them. Overall, i had a good time with my classes. The only bad part (not really a bad part as much as it was a teaching aid) was that i had a TON of presentations. If I went 2 weeks without a presentation in one of my classes, it was a miracle. But I got used to them towards the end and it really didn't take much effort for me to turn out a fairly good presentation and paper.
What math classes were you required to take and how hard were they? I'm pretty talented in just about everything except for math and the math requirment kinda worries me because I don't want it pulling down my GPA right from the start.

I had a desk job at my internship. I hated it.
Right now, i'm looking at something in the human resources area or hopefully something where i can be out in the field. Either way, i hope that i'm not chained to a desk all day.

i was a human resource manager till i got fired //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
