What happend?

i had a 9515 on top of the amp like a dumbass..in the DD shipping box and all...and it moved and did something to my rca's and all of a suddedn i hear popopoopoppo from the amp and i look back and my fuses lit up bright *** red...and yeah the amp was toast //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif :blush: soooo time for me to get it repaired.

nope not yet, right now i have 0 working 2500D's....1 broken one...about to buy another this week....

you didn't go to the grove today? that sucks about the amps, how much to get em fixed? think just the mosfets or did it take out the preamp too?

not sure, i dont know too much about amp internals, but it did take out a few mosfets...and no i didnt go to the grove today because of this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif oh well theres plenty of shows left.

nope didnt get the new one built yet. gotta get these 2 amps before i rebuild...worst comes to worst i already have a box for the 4 of em...it'll work great for SPL but not to my likings for daily.

DO NOT send it to KB if you want it back in any sort of timely manner.

I'd just send it straight to Orion, they might just swap it out for an entire new/refurbed board...

Looks like you toasted the output side of the amp, along with the resistors on the middle or outter legs of a few of them....maybe $20 in parts but $80 in labor. If your interested in getting it fixed by other than orion, and NOT K&B hit me up.
