Me and my room mate just got scammed by a black man....

So I am sitting at the bar in my kitchen studying when I get a knock on the door...Its a black guy that walks around my neighborhood every once in a while and washes cars....

My room mate just told me about a bad wreck he saw on his way home from work.. Well this guy says his 7-year old son got hit by a car tonight.. I asked him if it was that wreck, and he said it was.. Said a crackhead was running from the cops and hit his son. Said his son was airlifted to Jackson, MS hopsital.. Now I have had 2 conversations with dude before and he seemed legit.... I interrogated him a bit and he still seemed fairly legit..

He was in a borrowed car and the car was sitting on Empty...He asked for $20 gas money to get to Jackson and back.. I was gonna give him $5 until my room mate came out and ended up giving him $20... So I gave him the $10 cash I had so he could have plenty of gas...

I had doubts, but he offered to show me his drivers liscene, sign a piece of paper, let me get the plate number etc........ Said he would come back Saturday and wash all of our vehicles in return, inside and outside...

So we gave up the money.. I immediately wondered if we just got hustled, but dude seemed serious and not strung out or anything.. We ride to where the wreck was to find out if he was legit but the cops were done called..

Called the police station with our story... Noone was hit in that wreck....

That sorry SOB made the story up about his son being hit.

Gave the police our info in case the car was in fact stolen....Woman said to keep on the lookout tonight in case he comes back....

Baseball bat by the door already and guns loaded...

If he does come back Saturday..Not sure how to handle it.. We will let him wash our vehicles.. Then we are gonna call him out on his lie.. My friend is wanting to beat him down..

Messed up situation.I would have felt bad if I hadn't of given him money and his story was true..

but apparently he needed it a lot worse than me.

The police told us if he comes back strung out to be ready. Woman said people like that are liable to come back for more money.
