MDF How thick?

I have some 5/8 thick MDF and I need to build an enclosure for my Type-R. Should I get some 3/4 or will I lose anything with the 5/8?

unless u double up the 5/8 id juts go buy 3/4 its like $20 a sheet and you'll save less time doubling the box.

It's pretty close to that, he clearly approximated it.

To the OP, it depends on the dimensions of the box. If it's a small box, 5/8" should do the trick.

close to that? its about $27 here in sacramento, which aint too far from the bay, unless you know someone that know someone.

hmm, MDF gone down? i thought i heard a lot of folks saying it was aroun $24 like a year ago and its was same over here. but $21? luckyass.

yeah.. about 25$ here... 20$ would be nice, and it does add up.. I mean 20$ v 25$.. thats 20$ after four boxes.
