MD 2 Vs. Viper 2500d

I have a MD2 for about a year and I like it and it works well.

honestly, who cares about how the looks of the "inside" look. it's all about the performance and what that amp delivers.

Well...

If there is sloppy work then thats just bad.

My 5600X autotek was repaired with a crap ton of solder.

It works great but all that solder doesnt seem like a good thing

Youve already said that your amp benches at 1900 rms at 1 ohm.

The orion does 2500 at 1 ohm at 13.8 volts.

So, the orion is more powerful- but the Us Amps may be built better, etc.

hmmm ive had a viper 1200D before for around 8 months. its a good amp... however the IS line (entry level) just killed it in loudness and cleanness with half the power of the 1200D. The Merlin wont put out the power of the 2500D, but from my experiences, the MD2 will be louder, and sound much better. Vipers = Dirty, but they are workhorses

My Md2 should be here today and Im gonna run it at .5ohm at the subs and try and get a clamp meter too see what it actually puts out.

compared to other 2000 watt amps the md2 board looks whack though..........................................

oh yea man...

^^^ this amp sux cuz its not stuffed full of crap like this one:

sometimes simpler = better yo!

omg.. i suppose to recieve me MD2 today but then i came home too late. so i got that stupid ups notice. i guess ill recieve it tomorrow instead!
