McIntosh MX4000/MDA4000 combo. The unit is complete, no packaging manuals. This head unit defines high end, bar none. Very rare, dont believe me look around... North American frequencies also, no jap crap.

Excellent comps. These sold for $620. The tweeter is renowned for being very natural, which it is. The set is missing the mount rings that are epoxied into my Alero sail panels. It was the surface mounts which most people dont use anyhow.

15 bands of equalization on both channels. Unit is missing one plastic piece where a screw goes through and has a very minor scratch thats not noticeable unless up very close. Other than that works great with no known issues.

JVC KD-AR7000/ARC Kar 400.4 (not bridged)

Now

McIntosh MX4000/ Eclipse EA 4000

Never seen mroe than 75wrms clean.

I'm not saying this isn't real or anything, its certainly a top notch unit, but at some point ford put this head unit in the GT supercar

The MX4000/MDA4000 combo is whats considered to be the absolute best by top SQ people around the world, bar none. Theres been some debate tossing in the MX5000 and claimed MDA5000 combo, yet nobody can say without a doubt there is such a thing as an MDA5000. Most believe its the MX5000 with an MDA4000.

Finding any or many people on the forums with experience with McIntosh headunits is hard. Finding anyone that has one is rare. Finiding one for sale is extremely rare...

why are you selling the mcintosh gear?

I have the two 12" Durabrands with not in a sub box and the Elevation Pro with no sub box.

Im selling it all off to help fund a business venture so I dont need to take a loan out. I guess I dont have to sell any of it, but could use the money towards it.

Small stuff shipping is included, all subs/boxes its extra.
