McIntosh 10" subwoofers....

I have a sub box that's approximately 4 ft x 2 ft x 10 in. and it has 4 10" black McIntosh Subwoofers... purchased it a while ago for my jeep.... thumps...

one of the subs is blown... but I was curious as to how much something like this would be worth...

the enclosure is solid and so are the subs... was unused for several years, and I just couldn't keep it in my jeep all the time because I needed the trunk space....

Any input would be appreciated... I was thinking about taking it apart to find a model number, but from what I understand, McIntosh subs are pretty rare and hard to come by.

ok, well I'm pretty sure that the box cost my friend well over $1000 to build, so selling each of the subs for $20 is kinda rediculous..

Did he make you pay that much for it too?

lets see here 4 subs of unknows year or model, one of them is blown that says abuse to me, he paid 1000 for the subs and box, they subs arent worth much espically if the jeep was a wrangler because then the subs got wet

the subs weren't used for a couple years because my friend ended up buying a truck for work and sold his explorer... they sat in his basement until I bought them and put them in my jeep... which wasn't a wrangler... it's a jeep grand cherokee... I took them out because I needed to move home from college and needed the trunk space... but then my trunk hatch wouldn't open, so they're sitting in my garage now....

sorry, apologies for failing to spellcheck my blog-post... a friend of mine was interested in purchasing the subs and box, and was wondering if it was worth selling to him or not; I pretty much used them for 2 months, until my amp started overheating.. and I didn't have the free cash to invest in another amp because I was in the process of building a music studio (I write music and thought that 2 sets of studio monitors/mixing board/new sound card for my music computer was more important), and I just purchased 2 new CDJ2000's too, which, for those who know about djing/studio production, rokit v4 monitors, rokit 8's with the sub, a mackie onyx 12 channel mixer and cdj2000's are a bit more pricey... on top of a new production computer and novation 61SL midi controller...

I used to love my infinity kappa series subs... and was going to wait until I got a new car to invest in a new sound system... right now, my jeep has MTX rear speakers and infinity gold front speakers... I had an infinity kappa perfect 12" sub that I pounded into the ground and was going through bass-withdrawls, so I bought these subs, and can't get my trunk open to put them back in because jeep hatches break far too easily... unfortunate, but just taking up garage space at this point in time...
