yeah, i have wondered about the mbquarts for a long time. No one around here seems to know anything about them.

I have some experience with the 10s. They like large sealed enclosures and struggle in ported boxes. They don't sound great with the manufacturer's recommended enclosure as it's peaky and really lacks low end -- way too much top end. They were very nice sounding subs in the right enclosure though.

what do you suggest i put it in?...i have it in a prefab ported enclosure right now because my cousin had it in the recommended sealed enclosure and he said the same thing...."really peaky"....why would they recommend that type of enclosure?

He demoed them which means he sat in the store and listened to them. My old roommate ran two 10s off of the JBL GTO 1201.1 and they handled it just fine.

I would recommend about 4-5 cubes for the pair of them sealed. I wouldn't port that sub at all.

They had the discus subs on a 500/1 and the premiums on a 1000/1

They were in sealed boxes, built to spec. I was impressed.

i had a RWE 302...great SQ subs...sealed box mandatory..they CANT go in ported enclosures..i mean they can but to get a flat line u need a 170 liters ported and tuned to 20 hz..lol...

power...between 500 and a kw of A/B power...most beautiful sound ive ever heard..except for the MbQ premium 10'' i have right now:fro:

i had it in a 31 liters sealed box..have a feeling that it could go with a bit more space..

**** i wonder how many of those woofersetc has sold. theyve had that sale forever. Recommended is 1.5 sealed for a 15?
