Will this compact class A/B amplifier run stupid hot and shut down if I bridge the rear channels for subwoofer duty? This amplifier is tempting me because based on tests of a Russian web site, it's underrated by manufacturer (rating 80/160, measurement: 110/182). Seems like a good deal given the low online prices.

Well. I don't know. It's not unknown for _large_ A/B amplifiers to overheat on a right song, and this one has fairly compact heatsink. I'd like to know what will happen to it on a +100F day when its installed in the trunk.

The ref is a higher series than my discuss and it gets warm to the touch after running for an hour at full tilt on my way to and from work but has never shut down. However if you don't tune it correctly and it's clipping than it likely will. It should be fine if you tune it right.
