I am current looking for a 12" sub that has GREAT SQ . I have also bin looking at a Boston Acoustics G5. Any recommendations that we help my finial pick ? I wil be powering this with a JL 500/1 amp thus I am not looking for mostor power hunger sub.

just did a d6 install and the sq is pretty awesome, also had a tc sounds tc3000 and it sounded real good as well, i would look at a small reference level sub maby memphis m1, jl w6, w3, fi ssd,

my earlier sub setups included fi q's, p3's, elemental designs 13kv.2's, type r's and type x's and all showed good sq as long as the box was done right

THE JL w3, Fi SSD, M1, & Reference are not even the picture. I spoke to Scott, a year ago, He said the Q would be close to a JL w6, but not quit.
