This is a very nice subwoofer in all circumstances and it continues to impress me.
The area that this sub excels the most in is probably sound quality. It continually hits tight and accurate bass at all levels of power and for me has only been limited by the amp that is powering it. I currently am giving it 500 watts rms from my amp and the sub is rated for 600. With this power situation i can get the sub loud while retaining the tight bass, but not to its full potential as the amp starts clipping at when a heavy bass note hits.
Out of the box this sub was very nicely built and seemed to have a good quality construction. The inverted surround along with the overall design of the sub gives it a nice clean look when installed into a system.
I would certainly recommend getting this sub for its overall function of great sound quality, build quality, and reliability
