ive heard opinons but want some honest ones from yall. i dont have a huge wallet and just want somethin that will make the l7s bump some more. main ones im looking at are

Kole

Mb Quart

crunch

power acoustics

sony

hifonics

i just want yalls opinons/facts on wich ones put out the labled power?

hifonics will, sony is crap, mb quart is good, pa and kole are the same thing, pa or kole would do it but look at fuse rating to judge the power output, in other words if it says 3000w its gonna be more like 1800w

I believe Crunch is the king of budget hard slappin audio. I remember when I had the gp1600.1 on 2 GP15s, then I knew Crunch was serious. I can only image the gp3000 is 3 fold the amp that the 1600 was. The subs are nasty too. I don't know who has used them, but they get silly low. I'm itching to get 4 GP15s and a 3000. That would abort some babies:)

the 3000d was way beyond the rest of the line, hence the 'pro' at the end, the rest of the line is over rated but ok from what i hear, if you do get crunch get the GP line. Then you may have 'hard slappin'.

yeah crunch and mb qaurt really caught my eye. the subs are 2 08 kicker L7 12s wired down to 2 ohm. hahah got them for free...why sony so bad?

i didnt engineer them so I dont know other than the amps that say 1200w on top put out about 300w. But your subs wired to 2 it is gonna be a pain in the *** to find an amp that does power, most amps now do most power at 1 or you have a 2ch bridged to 4, maybe get 2 amps and strap them at 2

well 2 2-ohm, DVC subs with a mono amp at a 2-ohm load ....so anthing that wud at least give them 400-500rms each. heck mb quart makes one thats 1000 rms at 1-ohm load. i could split that and it wud give each sub close to the rms i want them to have?
