Built a box and did a little wiring for a friend. The first of what I hope to be many profitable installs in the future. This was a lot of fun to do and hope that I have as much fun with all of them.

found it difficult to get a good even goat in the port with the primer and paint. next time i think i'll try something like latex paint

carpeting was my favorite part. i love the way it came out. not bad for my first carpeting job. hopefully ill only get better at it too

this is the completed new box and the subs in thier old box. old box is a prefab 1.1 cube per sub at like 40 hz. garbage!!!

another of the old box, then the new box installed in the vehicle. it wasn't easy to get in there. took some muscle adn had to go in from the rear seat

these are the finishing touches. didn't have my camera around for the final shots but basically when you open the trunk all you see is a black wall with almost no gaps around it. in the cab the subs looks super sexy. seats fold up with no problem and almost no loss of output having them up.

all it all it works great. an amazing improvement from the previous setup. the old box in the trunk to the rear produced a sloppy, weak sound. now it is loud, smooth, and clean. it gets low too. gains are less than half on the T1000 (lower than it was before) and settings were all done with an oscope (fluke scopemeter). customer is extremely happy so i did my job. i have a video but it's like 40 mb and i dont' know how to host a vid. i've never done it before.

Thanks. I thought it turned out pretty well but the important thing is that it went without any major hiccups. Biggest problems was getting the box in but once I took the seats out it was not an issue. I have a friend with two old school Stroker 15s he wants to put in his jeep. I was thinking 3.3 cubes each @ 28 Hz and vinyl instead of carpet.

I was thinking the same thing, I was like wait those are T1's haha.
